Shandong Xiaopeng automobile apologized to Guangzhou XPeng Motors: Shanzhai electric vehicles have been discontinued
A few days ago, after a court hearing, Shandong Xiaopeng New Energy Co., Ltd. apologized to Guangzhou Xpeng Automobile Technology Co., Ltd. for the unauthorized production and sale of low-speed electric vehicles similar to the trademark “Xpeng Motors”, and the relevant products have been suspended since the judgment took effect.

Before the registration of Shandong Xiaopeng New Energy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”), the “Xpeng Motors” brand and trademarks No. 28547882 and No. 28600186 operated by Guangzhou Xpeng Automobile Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Guangzhou Xpeng Company”) and its affiliates already had a high reputation and influence in the field of electric vehicles.
However, knowing the popularity of the “Xpeng Motors” brand and related trademarks, the Company used the infringing logo that is identical to the above-mentioned trademark of Guangzhou Xpeng Company on the low-speed electric vehicles produced and sold by the Company without authorization.
In addition, the company also uses relevant infringement marks in production workshops, offices, vehicle production certificates, product manuals, production plant facades, and exhibitions. At the same time, the company registered “Xiaopeng” as a corporate brand name and used it in production, sales and exhibitions, and named each model produced by the company “Xiaopeng Automobile”.
Now the company has fully realized that the above acts infringe the exclusive right to use the registered trademark of Guangzhou Xiaopeng Company and constitute an act of unfair competition. The above-mentioned acts have had a bad impact on the corporate reputation and product reputation of Guangzhou Xiaopeng Company and its affiliates, violated the principle of good faith and disrupted the order of market competition.
The company hereby solemnly apologizes to Guangzhou Xiaopeng Company! At the same time, the company solemnly declares that since its establishment, the company has not had any relationship with Guangzhou Xiaopeng Company and its affiliates for license use, affiliated enterprises, etc. The company solemnly promises to strictly regulate the company’s future production and business activities, abide by laws and business ethics, and prevent any behavior that infringes the legitimate rights and interests of Guangzhou Xiaopeng and its affiliates again.
